The Absolute System - How it Works

The Absolute System is a security device that monitors emergency events such as gunshots, and panic situations. On the event of an emergency the device alerts the monitoring Companies (Call Center) through the Verizon GPRS network and the Internet.

The monitoring company immediately takes control of the surveillance cameras installed along with Absolute System, and starts viewing the premises to make an assessment of the situation. In case of an emergency, the monitoring companies agent calls up the concerned emergency service, such as the police, or other emergency service, and reports the event.

The system sends the location, premises address to the monitoring company so that the agent can provide the details to the emergency service. Under normal network conditions, the emergency services would be contacted well within a minute of the occurrence of an emergency event.

Process

The system sends the location, premises address to the monitoring company so that the agent can provide the details to the emergency service. Under normal network conditions, the emergency services would be contacted well within a minute of the occurrence of an emergency event.

Features

The surveillance camera has micro SD memory of 128 GB. The video recording for a duration of 4 hours prior to the event of an emergency will be available in the system for investigation purposes.

The Absolute Systems can be installed on premises like schools, colleges, restaurants banks and other public areas where is there is a chance of any emergency situation causing damage to life and property. Each system can have up to 4 surveillance cameras installed.

The Absolute System makes the emergency call instantly on detecting the event such as a gunshot, whereas in a normal emergency situation it would take a lot of time for the individuals to recover for the fear or trauma and to get a chance to make an emergency call.

The feature of controlling and viewing the emergency situation through the surveillance camera can help manage the situation better as the agent can constantly update the emergency service with the happenings on the premises.

The system has a panic button that can be pressed silently without the intruder noticing to trigger the emergency alert to the Monitoring Company.

In the event of multiple shootouts, the Absolute system provides the emergency services with critical information which helps them manage the situation better by optimally managing the available situation.
